Within the European market, comprising no less than 44 countries, the Peugeot 208 took the lead in sales in the first quarter of 2021, ahead of the Golf and the Clio.
In the first quarter of 2021 in Europe, results are good for the lion brand, with the Peugeot 208 which gained two places to climb to the top of the sales podium, thanks to its 54,870 copies sold (an increase of + 18.8%). It thus precedes the Volkswagen Golf, which lost a position to reach second place, with 52,456 sales (-22.3%). The podium is completed by the Renault Clio, which loses two places with a total of 50,849 units sold (-11.1%).
The fourth position is occupied by the Toyota Yaris, which gained 6 places with 49,155 units (+ 42.4%), followed by the Citroën C3 which gained 4 places with 45,437 copies (+ 25.3%), as well as the Peugeot 2008 which gained no less than 21 places and 45,338 sales (+ 91.7%).
The Volkswagen Tiguan arrives at the 7th place with 43,144 copies (+ 5.8%), followed by the Dacia Sandero in 8th with 42,934 units (+ 39.3%), and the Skoda Octavia which loses 5 places with 42,694 sales (+ 41%). Finally, to finish this Top 10, the Fiat Panda gains 7 places, with 42,045 copies sold (+ 41%).
