Let’s go for the Yaris Cross! The SUV version of the little Yaris arrives on the French market. Toyota opens its order book and announces at the same time its prices and details of its range.

The model, which is 4.18 m long, is therefore available from… 25,500 €. One and only hybrid drive is available. This combines a three-cylinder 1.5L petrol unit and a 59 kilowatt electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery for a total power of 116 horsepower. The whole in two or four wheel drive (AWD-i intelligent all-wheel drive).

Four finishes and a special launch series

At launch, the range is made up of 4 finishes (« Dynamic », « Design », « Collection » et « Trail ») plus a special “Premiere” series (plus a “Business” finish dedicated to professionals).

The entry-level “Dynamic”, available only in traction, has automatic air conditioning as standard, the Toyota Safety Sense package (pre-collision system, intelligent adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with keeping in line, reading traffic signs, etc.), a reversing camera, an 8-inch touch screen and a leather steering wheel.

Above, the “Design” level adds 17-inch alloy wheels, adaptive full LED lights, sequential LED indicators, dark-tinted rear windows, an electrochromatic interior mirror or even the Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system with 9-inch touch screen.

The “Trail” finish is enriched by roof rails, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, heated front seats, half-leather upholstery, a head-up display, front and rear parking radars. and a blind spot and rear traffic warning system.

To this, and for the same price, the “Collection” level adds a two-tone bodywork.

Finally, the special launch series called “Première”, available only in all-wheel drive, is meant to be over-equipped with a unique two-tone paint on the menu, specific 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, leather upholstery, an electric tailgate with opening. hands-free, a panoramic roof, an 8-speaker JBL audio system and an induction smartphone charger. Not to mention the semi-autonomous Toyota Teammate Advanced Park parking system

Unveiled at the end of March, the more adventurous “Adventure” finish (protection plate under the rear bumper, silver rails on the roof ..) is not yet in the catalog.

The Yaris Cross is produced in France, at Toyota’s industrial site in Valenciennes-Onnaing, in the North (59).
