The catalog of the new Seat Leon is enriched with a new petrol engine: the 190 horsepower 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder.
The new generation of Seat Leon has a new petrol engine: a four-cylinder 2.0-liter TSI strong of 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, associated with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission: an engine that can be found in particular on the Ateca and Tarraco. On the Leon, this unit is available in both 5-door sedan and Sportstourer estate silhouettes, but only in the “FR” finish, the most upscale of the range.
Seat Leon (2021): a full range of engines
With this new block, the Spanish compact now reaches the 100 km / h in 7.4 seconds (7.6 seconds for the station wagon), with WLTP consumption announced between 6.7 and 7.2 liters per 100 km / h (6.7 to 7.3 liters for the Sportstourer version), for emissions of 151 to 164 g of CO2/ km (151 to 165 g on the station wagon).
This new offer enriches a catalog already well supplied with engines, including in gasoline the 1.0-liter TSI of 110 horsepower, the 1.5-liter TSI of 150 horsepower, and now the 2.0-liter TSI of 190 horsepower. At Cupra, the Leon also benefits from this 2.0-liter TSI pushed to 245 and 300 horsepower. In Diesel, the 2.0-liter TDI comes in 115 and 150 horsepower, while the 1.4-liter e-Hybrid plug-in hybrid powertrain comes in 204 horsepower and 245 horsepower (at Cupra). Finally, a natural gas (NGV) fuel offer is also available, with the 1.5-liter TGI of 130 horsepower.
In France, the Seat Leon powered by the 2.0-liter TSI 190 horsepower is displayed at a starting price from 35,250 euros, to which is added a ecological penalty of 898 €.
