The Toyota ProAce City shares the Peugeot Partner and Citroën Berlingo platform, and like its French cousins, the Japanese compact utility now also offers a new “Electric” version, equipped with the same original Stellantis (PSA) engine: a electric motor from 136 horses (100 kW) et 260 Nm de couple. The all-electric Toyota ProAce City is available in utility versions (ProAce City Electric) and recreational space (ProAce City Verso Electric), which will allow professionals and individuals alike to access cities restricting traffic to thermal vehicles. They have the same layouts and loading capacities of the thermal ProAce City, with a loading volume of up to 4.4 m³, up to 800 kg payload and up to 750 kg towing capacity.

The batterie lithium-ion de 50 kWh is in fact located under the floor, and does not encroach on the passenger compartment or the cargo space. This allows the Toyota ProAce City Electric to offer a range between 260 and 280 km (WLTP cycle), and its on-board three-phase charger of 11 kW allows a full charge of the battery in 5 hours, while the use of a fast charger of 100 kW allows to obtain a capacity of 80% in just 30 minutes.

Performance level, 0 to 100 km / h is carried out in 11.2 to 11.7 seconds (depending on the version), for a maximum speed of 135 km / h. Several driving modes (Eco, Normal and Power) can be used to optimize range or performance as desired.
