One of the 100 examples of the electric Mercedes-AMG SLS is for sale in the Netherlands. Its price is delusional! Especially when you know its autonomy!
The electric car is not new. Certainly, recently, all manufacturers have offered new models, but in the world of supercars, we have been thinking about it for a long time. Almost 10 years ago, in 2012, Mercedes already unveiled a fully electric version of its supercar at the time: the SLS.
Produced in only 100 copies, the German saw her V8 replaced by 4 electric motors. The total power skyrockets to reach 740 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque! Its performance also improves with a 0 to 100 km / h under 4 seconds. On the other hand, its 60 kWh batteries only allow it to cover 250 km by being kind to the accelerator. Another peculiarity, it was only available only one shade: flashy yellow! If the car is silent, it therefore makes up for it with its color to make sure it does not go unnoticed.
One of these 100 cars is currently on sale at RM Sotheby’s in the Netherlands for a stratospheric sum of… 1.05 million euros! Admittedly, it has only 3,800 km on the clock, at the same time, with such a small range, not easy to go very far. Already when it was launched, the € 400,000 requested had put off some buyers. But displayed today more than double for such a small range, it’s expensive per kilometer!
