First zero emission vehicle Subaru, the Solterra will have a template close to that of the Forester, which measures 4.61 m long, and will be based on the e-Subaru modular platform dedicated to fully electric vehicles and jointly developed with Toyota.

The commercialization of Solterra is planned around mid-year 2022, therefore in Europe but also in the USA, Canada and China.
