The Crosscamp Flex is a new compact and accessible van, based on the Opel Zafira Life and Toyota ProAce Verso, which is intended for outdoor adventurers.
Produced by Dethleffs, a subsidiary of the German group Hymer, the Crosscamp Flex is offered on the basis of Opel Zafira Life or Toyota ProAce Verso, the versions of Peugeot Traveler and Citroën SpaceTourer from the Stellantis group (PSA). He rides the wave of vans compacts and accessible with a pop-up roof, very popular with outdoor recreation enthusiasts.
Crosscamp Flex: room for four people
On board, the Crosscamp Flex is equipped with a small cuisine, composed of a sink with a 10-liter tank, a two-burner gas stove powered by a 2.8 kg gas cylinder, as well as a small retractable table. The two front seats are swivel and, associated with the rear bench, can accommodate four people on board. The interior is modular and each element is removable, in order to configure your space according to your needs.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, the rear seat can be folded down and transformed into a double bed of 114 x 200 cm, and the pop-up roof hides a second double bed of 120 x 200 cm. The exterior dimensions are compact, with 4.96 meters long, 2.01 meters wide and 1.99 meters high, allowing you to squeeze in everywhere.
Based on the renowned EMP2 platform, the Crosscamp Flex is offered with the Diesel engines of the Stellantis group (PSA), namely the 1.5-liter BlueHDi of 120 hp, as well as the 2.0-liter BlueHDi of 150 and 180 hp. Depending on the version, it is possible to opt for a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Price level, the Crosscamp Flex is offered from 44,599 euros (Toyota ProAce Verso base) and 46,599 euros (Opel Zafira Life base). “Lite” versions, without kitchen equipment, are also available: they allow a saving of 1,500 euros compared to the prices of the Flex versions.
