Unveiled in November 2020, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is available to order. Prices are soaring since the luxury limousine is displayed from 189,200 €!
Checkbooks will heat up! Mercedes just announced the prices of its new Maybach S-Class. Renewed in November 2020, just a few weeks after the “classic” S-Class, this ultimate version of the star sedan is today available to order from… 189.200 €. It’s almost 90,000 € more than the S-Class, displayed at € 100,850, and around € 85,000 more than the S-Class Limousine, invoiced at € 105,850 minimum.
At this exorbitant price, the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is mainly the emphasis on comfort of its rear passengers with a increased wheelbase 29 cm compared to the S-Class and 18 cm compared to the S-Class Limousine (3.39 m for a total length of 5.47 m!).
It also gains additional comfort equipment such as massaging calf rests, back neck and shoulder heating and better soundproofing thanks to active noise compensation. Up front, occupants will benefit from the MBUX infotainment system.
Externally, the car can be recognized by its “Maybach” logo on the C pillar, its specific engine cover with chrome slats and its grille with fine vertical stripes, also chrome. In profile, its rear doors are also wider to facilitate access on board (electrically operated comfort doors as an option). And for even more elegance, this grand luxury S-Class can also be dressed in a two-tone paint with dividing line at the waistline. Then count an additional € 15,000. The options catalog also includes rear steering wheels (€ 1,600) or the Business Class Pack which offers the MBUX entertainment system for the rear seats (from € 17,700).
Two versions are available on the French market: the S 580 4MATIC, with motor V8 essence 4.0l of 503 ch (700 Nm) 48V micro-hybridization, and the S 680 4MATIC with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 with 612 hp (900 Nm). The 0 to 100 km / h is announced respectively at 4.8 and 4.5 seconds. In both cases, top speed is capped at 250 km / h and the 9G-Tronic automatic transmission is standard.
So count from € 189,200 for the S 580 4MATIC and € 232,700 for the S 680 4MATIC
