The Toyota AE86 is the ancestor of the GT86, a small, sporty and affordable coupe. Usually, under the hood, there are 4 cylinders, but here La Nippone has a much larger V8 that is a bit special.
Toyota loves to produce small cars for fun! Sports vehicles have been of interest to the Japanese manufacturer for a long time. Just look at the brand’s current range to realize this: between the Supra, Yaris GR and the new GR86, there is something to be convinced. And this love story goes back a long time! Before the GR and GT 86, there was the AE86 produced between 1984 and 1987.
Nascar V8!
Originally, no V8 has ever found a place under the hood of these sports cars. Lucky for us, a little English trainer decided to right this injustice in the most beautiful way. by installing a Nascar V8 under the hood of an AE86! The result is simply monstrous!
700 hp at the rear wheels
First, there is this orange color that does not go unnoticed. Then, how not to notice the ultra-wide fenders which house huge rims? But the centerpiece is obviously under the hood: a 7.4-liter V8 straight from a Nascar and developing a whopping 700 hp! The sets of tires do not resist it for long, and what sound !
