After unveiling the prices for the launch version “La Première”, DS lifts the veil on the entire DS 4 range!
After announcing the prices of the limited launch series, logically called “La Première”, DS is finally opening orders for the rest of the DS 4 range. The opportunity to discover the prices of the different versions and finishes of the French sedan , which seeks to tease the German premium.
And the prices reflect this: the cheapest DS 4 will be available for € 29,200. For this price, you will be entitled to PureTech 130 gasoline in automatic gearbox, and with the first level of finish, which DS calls Bastille. Compare with the entry prices of competitors such as the Mercedes Class A (€ 28,899 in petrol 110 hp with manual gearbox), or the Volkswagen Golf (€ 27,395, petrol 110 ch, mechanical gearbox). The Frenchwoman is therefore clearly aiming above the Golf, which will be the prime target of the new Peugeot 308, expected slightly above € 25,000.
The rest of the range is structured around three versions: DS 4, DS 4 Cross, et DS 4 Performance Line. The Cross version will play on a typical SUV look (without changing the dimensions), with plastic protections at the level of the shields, specific rims, roof bars, and other aesthetic details. For its part, the Performance Line displays, as its name suggests, a sporty look. We find a ” Black Pack »(Grille assembly and decorative inserts in black instead of chrome), specific black rims, and different materials in the interior such as the Alcantara.
Each of these versions has its own finishing scale: DS does not go to the simplest … On the classic DS 4, we find four finishes : Bastille, Bastille +, Trocadero, and Rivoli, not to mention the launch version “La Première”. The DS 4 Cross will only be available in the Trocadero or Rivoli finish, while the Performance Line is offered as is or in a superior finish. Performance Line +. Most of the on-board technologies will be delivered standard from the Trocadero finish, which is the heart of the range. Bastille and Bastille + are also equipped with a fabric interior.
On the engine side, the powers are scaled from 130 to 225 hp. In gasoline, we find the PureTech 130, 180 or 225. Only one diesel is available, the BlueHDi 130. Finally, a plug-in hybrid version E-Tense 225 is available, with an autonomy announced at 55 km (WLTP) in 100% mode. electric. Note that the DS 4 is not available in manual gearbox.
To see more clearly, DS gives us some examples of configurations. In addition to the entry-level DS 4 in Bastille finish at € 29,200, we thus discover a DS 4 Bastille + diesel 130 automatic at € 31,200, which should be one of the best-selling models. At the top, the DS 4 Cross Rivoli with plug-in hybrid engine E-Tense 225 throne at € 47,500, almost the price of the entry-level DS 9 large sedan!
