David Brown Automotive produced the first copies of the Mini Remastered Oselli Edition, a strong 125 horsepower restomod limited to 60 copies.
Presented in 2019 and limited to 60 copies, in tribute to the 60th anniversary of the historic Mini in 1959, the Mini Remastered Oselli Edition from David Brown Automotive (DBA) was developed with Oselli, a British company providing maintenance, restoration and preparation of vintage vehicles.
One of its peculiarities is that it is powered by an improved version of the A series engine of the first generation Mini, from 1.420 cm3 displacement and two carburettors, delivering no less than 125 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 153 Nm de couple at 4,500 rpm.
The set is associated with a five-speed manual transmission, and performance is at the rendezvous with a 0 to 100 km / h in 7.8 seconds. For automatic transmission enthusiasts, a four-speed version is also available, but with another 1.380 cm block3 of displacement.
Other performance equipment also includes a limited slip differential, high performance AP Racing brakes, Bilstein suspension and a specific exhaust system, not to mention 13-inch rims shod with slick tires. A few small touches of modernity are also present on board, such as an Apple CarPlay compatible touchscreen multimedia system.
The Mini Remastered Oselli Edition comes with several body colors inspired by the historic Mini, and sells from £ 98,000 duty free in the UK, the equivalent of 115.000 euros.
