Known for its work on the electrification of vintage cars, the British firm Lunaz is now 10% owned by star footballer David Beckham.
A few months ago, Lunaz made the “buzz” by presenting its Rolls-Royce Phantom from the 60s revised and corrected to accommodate a mechanical electric brand new.
Specialized in the conversion of vehicles from collection, Lunaz made a name for itself working on old Rolls, Bentleys and Jaguars.
Today, the English firm is once again making the headlines with an unusual capital acquisition. Indeed, David Beckham, the former star of the round ball, somehow comes to “strengthen” the ranks of the small British manufacturer!
More concretely, the former footballer David Beckham invested in Lunaz up to 10% of its capital.
As a result, the company has the means to focus on new Goals such as the conversion of trucks and commercial vehicles, as well as the marketing of electric powertrains.
By 2023, Lunaz plans to hire 500 people thanks to the capital contribution of David Beckham.
A reconversion successful!
