Karting is a dangerous sport, both in competition and when racing with friends in rental machines. This spectacular accident is proof of that!
Go-karting may not be an extreme sport, but it is nonetheless dangerous. Safety rules must also be observed, not only in competition, but also when having fun with rental machines. One of them is implicit: braking before an accident. An action that the pilot seems to have forgotten, then in battle to defend his place.
Un looping !
After hitting a first barrier, one of the two karts rises, passes slightly over the second before another impact which propels it in looping ! He finished his race off the track, on the wall of tires. As for the second kart, its management is in shambles. He will not finish his session either.
Thank you seat belt
In recent years, karts have had seat belts identical to those that can be found in our cars. And fortunately ! Without it, the poor pilots could have been thrown from their machine and be more seriously injured. After this spectacular accident, both seem to be doing “well”, but they may not be back in this kind of gear anytime soon.
