For its 125th anniversary, the ABT preparer launches what is arguably the most exclusive model in the company’s history – the Johann Abt Signature Edition based onAudi RS6.

Johann Abt started in 1896 as a blacksmith in Kempten. Today, Abt Sportsline is considered the world’s largest preparer for the brands of the Volkswagen group. In particular for the Audi brand.

In order to properly celebrate this anniversary, the manufacturer will produce only 64 examples of the RS6. Only six cars will be built per month by hand.

800 hp for a top speed of 330 km / h

Engine V8 biturbo four-liter engine has been significantly improved: it goes from 600 hp and 800 Nm to 800 hp and 980 Nm of torque thanks to new turbochargers, enlarged cooling and an improved exhaust line. An additional oil cooler ensures stability.

With the increase in horsepower, the numbers on the road also improve: the 0 to 100 km / h is reached in 2.91 seconds, 0.69 seconds less than the standard RS 6. 200 km / h is reached in just 9.79 seconds. After 28.35 seconds, the 300 km / h barrier is crossed, 20 seconds earlier than in the standard RS6! The maximum speed as for it culminates at 330 km / h.
