This very original creation sees the entire front part of a 1969 Ferrari 365 GT, as well as its V12, grafted to a Jeep Wagoneer from the same period. Here is the “Jerrari”, the first Ferrari 4WD SUV!
After an accident in the snow with his Ferrari 365 GT + 2, the owner of the latter wondered why not create a Ferrari 4 wheel drive? Not shy for a penny, the man then asked the opinion of a certain… Enzo Ferrari. We know his answer. If it had been positive, it has been a long time since a prancing horse SUV would have seen the light of day.
Never mind ! He then decides to create it himself, this 4 × 4. He retrieves the front end of his wrecked 365 which was still in good condition, and decides to attach it to a 1969 Jeep Wagoneer. Here’s the result ! An Italian-American hybrid with a V12 from the Ferrari and the 3-speed gearbox of the Jeep.
This crazy owner even went so far as to recreate an emblem for the hood of his Ferrari.. The prancing horse has transformed well and we can indeed read “Jerrari” with the same font as the Italian brand of the time. The wooden steering wheel also comes from the late Ferrari which allowed this unusual creation to see the light of day!
