Another damaged Ferrari … Recently, it’s not one, not two, but three Ferraris that crashed together in the United States. Here, the facts took place in Germany in Munich. This time around, only one car from the Italian manufacturer is involved. But not just any !
For the record, Ferrari only built 40 examples of the 599 GTB 60F1, exact variant of the crashed model. It is one of the lesser known versions of the 599.
Introduced in December 2011, it was launched to celebrate the 60 years of Ferrari victories in the Formula 1 championship.
The special version is based on the 599 HGTE, which has harder springs, new anti-roll bars, a different management of the suspension settings as well as a lowered trim compared to the classic version.
The rims are also unique and the special livery on the body is inspired by the one Ferrari used in the Formula 1 world championship in 2011.
The image of the carcass has been shared on Instagram, by the collector muc.collector.
In view of the visible damage on the photograph, it seems difficult to believe that the model is repairable, as the damage seems important. We do not know the details of the accident but we note that the front part is partially destroyed and seems to be torn off.
The nature of the damage leads us to believe that the pilot lost control in fairly violent conditions, but according to the information in the publication, the driver was not injured.
