Following the announcement of the end of his collaboration with Ford, Ken Block parted ways with some of his cars, including his Hoonitruck. The latter is not cheap since it is displayed at more than a million dollars!
Ken Block is famous for building unique and slightly crazy products. One goal: to put them in the way and manhandle them in his videos called Gymkhana. Recently the pilot decided to part ways with his Hoonitruck, most recently exhibited in Climbkhana 2 where the American crosses all the bends of Mount Tianmen in China.
The performance of this machine is up to all expectations. Under the hood sits the V6 of a Ford GT specially prepared for the 24 hours of Le Mans, developing 914 hp! We say “under” its hood, but it would rather be “through” since the two turbos which are used to produce this power are very visible. All cavalry is sent to 4 wheels via 6 speed sequential transmission.
The reason for this sale is important to say the least. In 2021, the partnership between Ford and Ken Block has ended! In fact, the pilot returned to his first love by collaborating with Subaru for rally events. It therefore separates from its Fords for tidy sums since the price displayed for this pickup is $ 1.1 million!
