Nissan is delighted with the good commercial start of its new Qashqai. Available since April, the third generation of the SUV has already attracted more than 10,000 customers across Europe, including 1,000 in France.
Presented last February and available to order in France since the beginning of April, the new Qashqai is in front of a huge construction site. This third generation should indeed allow the pioneer of compact SUVs, heckled for several years by ever fiercer competition, to find a place of choice in one of the fastest growing automotive segments at the moment.
And to touch the summits once again, the Qashqai is now focusing on a more elegant design, a modernized interior and ever more numerous comfort and safety technologies. Not to mention a range of fully “electrified” engines (1.3 liter 4-cylinder Mild-Hybrid 140 and 158 hp, plus e-Power engine of 190 hp in 2022)
While waiting to see if these ingredients will guarantee long-term success, Nissan is already looking forward to the first sales figures of his model.
The Japanese manufacturer has indeed already registered more than 10,000 orders on the Old Continent, dont 1,000 in France.
“The all-new Nissan Qashqai crossover is starting to appear in the brand’s showrooms across Europe. And customer orders have already exceeded 10,000 units in Europe, including a thousand in France. Nissan announced.
“We are pleased with the very positive feedback we are already having and the 10,000 customer orders in such a short time, exceed our expectations“, Said Arnaud Charpentier, Vice President Product Marketing Strategy of Nissan Europe.
