this Audi TT RS goes up to 317 km / h on the Autobahn!

Boosted to 616 hp, the very melodious 5-cylinder engine of this Audi TT RS allows it to go up to 317 km / h on a German motorway, all without forcing!

Originally, the Audi TT RS is not what you might call a slow car. Equipped with a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine, the German develops 400 hp and 480 Nm of torque. Enough to take it from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds.

However, these very honorable figures seem not to be enough for the owner of this car. The latter undertook a complete preparation to allow his Audi TT to reach 625 hp and 718 Nm. The details of the work are not known but in the video, we can hear that the exhaust line has been modified and that it no longer has silencers.

Fortunately, the cavalry uses the 4-wheel drive of the Quattro system, an Audi specialty for 40 years.

On to the Autobahn!

In this video filmed on a stretch of German motorway at unlimited speed, the driver of this heavily modified TT RS sets out to test the vehicle’s inclinations. After making a reconnaissance lap, he climbs back onto the Autobahn and accelerates fully.

The 5 cylinder is revealed musical as you wish and the Audi reaches very quickly impressive speeds to reach 317 km / h on the counter! An incredible performance for a vehicle normally limited to 250 km / h and whose displacement is after all very reasonable. It also makes it possible to realize to what extent the motor preparation can transfigure the performance of a car …
