video on board the restyled SUV

Just a few days after its world premiere, discover the restyled Dacia Duster in video with our journalist Stéphane Martin.

Launched in 2017, the second generation of the Duster just got a little makeover through a mid-career restyling.

Aesthetic alterations

This new version of Dacia’s star SUV can be recognized in particular by its new Y-shaped light signature, already seen on the new Sandero. It also gains LED indicators at the front (a first for the Romanian manufacturer) and new grille patterns with 3D effect. Dacia has also worked on its aerodynamics with a redesigned roof spoiler and new rims.

More comfort on board

Inside, the brand especially wanted to move upmarket while looking after comfort. We therefore find a larger 8-inch touchscreen tablet compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, new headrests and a higher center console with a wide 7 cm sliding armrest.

Return of EDC box

On the technical side, the main novelty is the return of EDC6 dual-clutch automatic transmission. But the latter is only associated with the TCE 150 engine. The rest of the gasoline range consists of the TCe 130 unit (4 × 2, BVM6) while the diesel offer revolves around the Blue dCi of 115 hp (4 × 2 or 4 × 4, BVM6) since the Blue dCi 95 has disappeared from the catalog. On the other hand, the 100 hp ECO-G dual-fuel gasoline-LPG version (4 × 2, BVM6) is still in the game and even benefits from a larger LPG tank (49.8 liters) for increased autonomy (1235 km ).

Prices always contained

The restyled Duster is already available to order and in three finishes, against four previously (exit the “Access” finish). Prices start at € 14,990 (LPG)
