Mercedes SL 65 AMG belonged to Toto Wolff

The Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series has a 670 hp V12 capable of taking it to 320 km / h. This rarity was produced only 350 copies in the world.

At Mercedes-AMG, the “Black Series” represents the technological culmination of a model. Produced in small series, it is distinguished by its particularly aerodynamic neat and by engines developed to their maximum capacity. Marketed in 2009, the SL 65 Black Series was no exception to the rule with a hard carbon roof that transformed it into a coupe and a 6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine developing 670 hp! Thus configured, the Mercedes was able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and reached 320 km / h. Produced in only 350 copies, it was already un collector at its output.

Illustrious owner

Finding one on the market is therefore not easy

. British dealer Tom Hartley JR has just offered a copy for sale with just over 5,000 km on the odometer. Its particularity is to have belonged to Toto Wolff, boss of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team and engineer by trade. Although the Austrian was involved in the development of the SL 65 AMG Black Series at the time, it does not seem not really appreciated it given the low mileage of his car… Sold at the time for around € 300,000, this car could be worth the same thing Nowadays.
