Bürstner presents the Copa Trail, a converted van based on a Ford Transit Custom forwarder, which has a sporty off-road appearance.
German manufacturer of camper vans, caravans and campervans belonging to the Erwin Hymer group, Bürstner unveils its novelties for the 2021-2022 season, with many new models: recently introduced in the range, the camper van Bürstner Copa will be available from next year in Trail Cup, a version surfing on the fashion of SUVs and other crossovers, with a backpacker design.
There is a specific matte black grille signed Ford, a continuous running board, 16-inch black aluminum rims, as well as reinforced sills and side guards: ” We offer the Copa Trail specifically for a target who prefers an off-road look but doesn’t want to buy a 4 × 4 », Specifies Daniel Seisenberger, Commercial Director of Bürstner.
Based on a Ford Transit Custom forwarder equipped with a 130 horsepower engine, which can go up to 185 horsepower as an option, the Bürstner Copa Trail has compact dimensions, with a length of 4.97 meters, a width of 1.99 meter and a height of 2.09 meters. It stands out for its great modularity, with a floor track systemwhich allows to adapt the interior configuration according to the needs of each one.
The front seats are swivel, while the bench can be converted into a bed, supplemented by an additional bed located in the pop-up roof. Two additional seats are even available as an option, making it possible to offer up to six seats seated on board. Kitchen equipment includes a two-burner gas stove, sink and 40-liter compression refrigerator.
The Bürstner Copa Trail will be presented to the public as a world premiere at the Salon CMT de Stuttgart, which should take place from January 15 to 23, 2022, while its commercialization is planned for spring 2022.
