the entry-level version in pictures

Discover what a new third-generation Peugeot 308 looks like, in sedan and station wagon versions, in its entry-level “Active Pack” finish.

The third generation of the Peugeot 308 is already available to order, in five-door sedan and SW estate versions, at prices starting from 24,800 and 25,800 euros respectively. The 3D configurator on the official website of the lion brand now allows us to discover what its entry-level version, called “Active Pack” and equipped with a 1.2-liter PureTech petrol engine of 110 horsepower.

This entry-level version offers an assertive and rather neat style: of course, the chrome inserts are not in the game, but we find on its front panel LED headlights, complemented by Peugeot’s famous vertical light signature, made up of LED segments. The steel wheels with16 inch wheel covers are required, but are replaced by alloy rims as soon as we opt for engines of 130 horsepower. In terms of colors, the new 308 dares the Olivine Green (sedan) and the Avatar Blue (station wagon), metallic paints available as standard. On the other hand, if you want to opt for the classic Opaque White Banquise, it will cost you 200 €!

Peugeot 308 (2021): a rewarding endowment

On board, of course, the atmosphere is less opulent than on the top-of-the-range “GT” finish, but does not deserve with its three-material fabric upholstery or its split leather steering wheel. The new 308 adopts above all as standard, from the first level of finish, a 10-inch screen for the customizable instrument cluster, as well as a 10 inch touch screen

to control the infotainment system, placed in the center of the dashboard. This does not embed the standard GPS navigation, but is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allows this problem to be easily circumvented with your smartphone and a navigation application.

The standard equipment is for its part well supplied, with hands-free starting, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, reading of signs, cruise control, electric and electrically folding mirrors, rear parking aid, or the front seats adjustable in height and lumbar level.

The new Peugeot 308 will be launched in the fall of 2021.
