The scorpion brand presents a new special series called Abarth F595, with the same engine as the Formula 4 single-seaters.
The offer of the small Fiat 500 signed Abarth is enriched with the arrival of a new special series called Abarth F595, with an “F” for “Formula 4”, for which Abarth supplies engines for the Tatuus single-seaters, used in Italy and Germany.
Available in sedan and convertible versions, this new Abarth F595 is distinguished by blue colored buttons “Blu Rally”, which can be found on the mirror caps as well as the front and rear bumpers, not to mention 17-inch matt black alloy wheels, a specific “F595” badge at the rear, as well as standard fog lamps.
But the other novelty is the arrangement of the four outlets of the new active exhaust system. Record Monza Over and Under, which are now stacked vertically. The sound can be modified at will thanks to a valve, which can be controlled by means of a button placed on the dashboard. The interior is more understated, with matte black dashboard decor, along with a leather steering wheel and Abarth sport seats.
Under the hood, we find the engine 1.4 liter T-Jet with 165 horsepower and 230 Nm torque, identical to that which equips Formula 4 in competition. The performances are at the rendezvous with a 0 to 100 km / h swallowed in 7.3 seconds with the manual gearbox, and in 7.4 seconds with the automatic gearbox.
The new Abarth F595 is already on sale in several European countries, such as Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Greece, United Kingdom, Luxembourg and even Belgium, where it is offered at a price of 24,390 euros. Marketing in France has not yet been confirmed.
