It’s the VW Combi T2’s turn to join the range of the constructor of LEGO brick toys! A new version which now makes 2207 parts …
That’s it, the first generation of VW Bus is no longer offered for sale on the LEGO site. So it’s the turn of the VW Combi T2 to join the range of the toy manufacturer.
Few months ago, LEGO proposed the Volkswagen Combi T1 in a set of 1334 pieces. Today, the famous brick toy manufacturer will offer a second version which is neither more nor less than the second generation of the Combi in a set of 2207 pieces.
It is scheduled for this summer, from August 1st. This set number 10279 will be marketed at a price of 159.99 euros, directly available from the online store.
It will be a little bigger than its previous T1 version, with a length of 35 cm, 14 cm wide and 15 cm high.
This VW Combi T2 will offer its set of accessories to offer a personalization worthy of the name. There will be a pop-up roof with integrated tent as well as a fully equipped kitchen.
The details are taken further, with also a surfboard and two folding chairs available.
To customize the set, a sticker sheet will allow you to decorate the van in LEGO bricks as you wish. There are even license plates.
So, are you more of T1 or T2?
