The Dodge Viper is already quite an animal. Its engine has long held the title of the most imposing ever inserted in a production car. So what could be better than making it much lighter?
To reduce the weight of a car, there are not many solutions. Either remove parts or use lighter materials. Generally, this last method is significantly more expensive since it requires the use of aluminum or even carbon fiber which are far from cheap … But is it possible to do it at home, in your garage?
Obviously, yes! The owner of this Dodge Viper recreated all the body panels of his vehicle in carbon fiber, in his garage! But, as can be seen in this video, the process seems far from easy. On the other hand, the result is absolutely amazing! It looks like this car has just come out of the factory because the different body panels adapt so well to each other.
With so much carbon, we might as well say that this Viper must have lost a lot of weight. Corn this was not enough for this owner who also decided to add a compressor. The total power of his Dodge Viper climbs to 850 hp!
Judging by the face this YouTuber makes when trying out his monster, his acceleration must be impressive!
