Westfalia presents the Meridian Limited, a van fitted out on Ford Transit carrier, which will be marketed in limited series from spring 2022.
German manufacturer, part of the French group Rapido since 2010, Westfalia presents a novelty planned for next spring: the Westfalia Meridian Limited, a compact camper van in limited series, based on a Ford Transit carrier. While Westfalia is renowned for its models based on Man, Volkswagen, Mercedes or Fiat carriers, this is the first time that a model has used a Ford base.
Almost six meters long by 2.70 meters high, the Meridian Limited is powered by a 185 horsepower diesel engine, coupled to an automatic transmission. Its equipment is rich with, among other things, metallic paint, 16-inch alloy rims, bi-xenon headlights, a visibility pack, an audio system 25 or even electrical pre-wiring for the coupling device.
Westfalia Meridian Limited (2022): enhanced equipment
The interior of the model is in keeping with the Westfalia philosophy, with a fully equipped kitchen, as well as contrasting white furniture with light wood panels, both modern and bright. Its living room is composed of a bench and a table, completed by the swivel front seats for accommodate up to four people.
The extensions at the back allow a transverse bed 1.54 meters wide, while the bathroom has a small window, with a shower, sink and toilet. The special Meridian Limited series also includes a latest generation diesel hot water heater, an LED pack with variable light, an awning and the winter pack.
Westfalia Meridian Limited will be marketed in spring 2022, at a beginner price from 70,490 euros.
