The Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano set the fastest lap time of a production car on the Indianapolis circuit: a new record which was set at 1 min 29 s 625.
Made in homage to the 90th Anniversary of the birth of Scuderia Ferrari, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale is the link between racing and road Ferraris. However, she does not forget her origins, and it is on the 3.925 km road circuit of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that she distinguished herself a few days ago, during the Ferrari Racing Days.
Indeed, the SF90 Stradale, in its sportiest version called Assetto Fiorano, achieved the best lap time recorded by a production car on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway circuit. She completed the 3.925 km loop in 1 min 29 s 625, at a maximum speed of approx. 281 km/h.
The new SF90 Stradale is the most powerful Ferrari of all time, and it is also the first model plug-in hybrid standard of the firm with the prancing horse, strong of no less than 1,000 horses, with a weight / power ratio of 1.57 kg / hp.
The “Assetto Fiorano” version is a sportier specification, which offers racing shocks, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2R track tires, as well as lighter carbon fiber and titanium elements, such as its carbon fiber rear spoiler that generates 390 kg of downforce at 250 km / h, allowing him to gain some 30 kg on the scale.
