This Jaguar E-Type has been in hiding since 1972, and has very few kilometers on the clock. It is for sale!
Imagine discovering, buried in a barn, a magnificent Jaguar Type E! This is what happened in the United States in the case of this 1965 Jaguar, which will be put on sale by the Gooding house at Pebble Beach.

This E-Type convertible was first registered in December 1965. Its owner then takes great care of it, and above all rolls very little with it. It still shows just over 8,000 miles, or about 13,000 km. The last time it drove, in 1972, it was therefore almost new.
This is not quite the case today. The body has lost his varnish and, visually at least, the engine has seen better days. Inside, however, the whole is rather well preserved.
Gooding specifies that this car is still equipped with its engine and its original box, and kept its rare color combination: a triple black, body / leather / soft top. Even the tires are original! Suddenly, the house believes that this Jaguar E-Type should sell between $ 250,000 and $ 350,000 (211 000 – 296 000 €).
A figure that seems very ambitious, when you can find a similar Jaguar E-Type Cabriolet 4.2 but fully restored for less than € 200,000 by home. See you on August 14 and 15 to bid …
