If the power of this beautiful Italian has more than doubled, it is because its owner has decided to install two large turbochargers on his V12… which do not fit under the hood!
From 2012 to 2017, the Ferrari F12 was Ferrari’s most expensive and ultimate GT. Its immense 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 develops no less than 740 hp, all sent to the rear axle. It is capable of reaching a top speed of just over 340 km / h and its 0 to 100 is timed in 3.1 s. A hell of a machine!
But since its release, technologies have evolved and supercars always produce more horsepower. So how do you put this Ferrari back in the race for power? The answer is simple: stick turbos on him! Except that there is not really room under its hood to store anything that is not already there … Never mind, just make a few holes in this huge carbon fiber piece!
This is exactly what this owner did. After having pierced its hood and installed 2 turbos on the V12, the power of the italian more than doubled to reach 1500 hp! The result is simply amazing! If its 0 to 100 has not been re-timed since, the least we can say is that these 1500 nags make a lot of noise!
