AllRoad motorhomes is a German company, specialized in the rental of motorhomes, with 4 × 4 models with all-wheel drive. We find in their offer several Hymer models, a Marco Polo 4 × 4, and now this astonishing Atacama 4x4S, based on a 190 horsepower Mercedes Sprinter and intended for adventurers and off-road camping enthusiasts.

The model takes its name from the Atacama Desert, a region located in Chile in South America, known to be one of the driest regions on Earth. The exterior decorations of the Atacama 4x4S were made accordingly, with mountain motifs but also visuals of cracked desert floors. The look is assertive, with large 18-inch all-terrain wheels, raised ground clearance, underbody protections, a winch, a spare wheel at the rear, or even a snorkel, allowing the admission of air at height for most extreme uses.

Atacama 4x4S: an all-inclusive rate

The Atacama 4x4S also has a pop-up roof which conceals a double bed, completed by a lit longitudinal 220 x 100 cm, which is installed at the rear of the vehicle at night, above the gas kitchen unit. We also find an integrated bathroom, with dry toilets and an outdoor shower. The double door at the rear provides access to a large hold for loading, while solar panels power its lithium battery.

According to the AllRoad Reisemobile website, the Atacama 4x4S is available for hire at a rate of 179,00 € per day, comprising 300 kilometers per day, with a minimum rental of 14 days. A “all inclusive” formula at € 250.00 is also offered, including insurance, vehicle washing, fluid filling and toilet preparation services, as well as complete on-board equipment: crockery, cutlery, utensils, camping table, chairs, extension cord, protectors mattress.
