At the 2021 Munich Motor Show, Daimler will present a world premiere of eight new models, including the future Mercedes EQE electric sedan, heralded by teaser photos.
The next German auto show IAA Mobility 2021, which is moving from Frankfurt to Munich this year, will be the occasion for Daimler to present in world premiere eight new models, through the brands Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-EQ, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach as well as Smart.
Among these, we will find a first electric sedan signed Mercedes-AMG (which should be the sports version of the EQE), a Mercedes-Maybach electric concept car (probably the recently announced EQS SUV), the new Mercedes EQB which will make its European premiere after being unveiled in China, a Mercedes-AMG plug-in hybrid E Performance (a variation of the AMG GT 4-door Coupé), an armored S-Class (S 680 Guard), as well as the C-Class All- Ground. At Smart, we will discover a small electric crossover show car, which will foreshadow the future of the brand.
But one of the most anticipated models of the stand of the brand in Stuttgart will surely be the new one. Mercedes EQE, the electric version of the E-Class sedan, which aims to become the new benchmark in the category, according to Mercedes.
The German firm has already unveiled first teaser images of the model, with an exterior photo where the EQE is plunged into darkness: for the moment we only distinguish its slender silhouette, whose style is close to the largest EQS, as well as its characteristic light signature, of which the two rear lights are connected by a red luminous border.
The interior is purified and technological, and we find the latest system MBUX Hyperscreen, with three large screens covering most of the dashboard. Ambient lighting, here presented in blue, will also be omnipresent to highlight the various components of this resolutely technological interior.
The new Mercedes EQE 100% electric as well as all the novelties of the Daimler group will be found at the future Munich Motor Show, which will be held from September 7 to 12, 2021.
