Discover Bison Futé’s traffic forecasts for the weekend from Friday August 6 to Sunday August 8, 2021.

The next weekend will mark the continuation of the traditional crossover of summer, between holidaymakers “Julyists” and “Augustans”. Without surprise, many motorists will take the road for this new holiday weekend, if we are to believe the forecasts of smart one.

Indeed, the little Indian specialist in road traffic is generally planning a busy weekend in the direction of departures and returns, with difficulties from 2 p.m. this Friday, August 6, which should last until the early evening. It is advisable, in the direction of departures, to leave or cross Île-de-France before 2 p.m.

The day of Saturday August 7 will be the most difficult of the weekend, with a ranking in rouge (very difficult traffic) on the majority of the territory in the direction of departures, and even noir (extremely difficult traffic) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The vast majority of roads will be affected, and in particular on the A9, A10, A20 and A62 motorways. In the Rhône valley, traffic on the A7 motorway will also be exceptionally difficult.

Bison Futé plans a return to calm on Sunday August 8, which is classified Vert

throughout France, with the exception of the Mediterranean Arc which will remain classified Orange.
