Specialized in preperation of Tesla, the Californian company Unplugged Performance regularly makes the “buzz” by presenting bodywork conversion kits and improvements in the suspensions or braking. However, his last feat of arms date is even more impressive since a Tesla Model S Plaid passed through its workshops was particularly noted on the Laguna Seca circuit.
Developing 1,020 hp and capable of going from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.1 seconds, the American sedan circled the Laguna Seca circuit faster than a Porsche 911 GT2 and only 6 tenths slower than the McLaren. Senna, the production vehicle the fastest having turned on this track. Note that these three vehicles were driven by Randy Pobst, a real specialist in this circuit.
To shine at this exercise, Unplugged Performance has modified aerodynamics of the car in order to give it more support. The car has a front fascia with a carbon blade and a huge rear spoiler, which isn’t just there to make it look aggressive. The interior has also been stripped down and fitted with a roll bar. Anyway, the preparer was able to prove the quality of his work, a benchmark in the world of Tesla fans.
