815 horsepower under the hood!

The trainer Manhart takes on the BMW M5. And the changes made are heavy! Up to 815 hp under the hood!

Manhart offers M5 F90 prepared since 2018 under the designation of MH5 700. This time, the preparer is inspired by the M5 version 2021 and some M5 CS 2022, and presents an even more powerful MH5 800.

Unreasonable power?

The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 is here modified to produce up to 815 ch and nearly 1,030 Nm of torque. This gives it 187 hp more than the M5 series competition and 177 hp more than the M5 CS, the most powerful BMW ever to leave the factory, just that!

This result was obtained thanks to the kit de performance turbo of Manhart, to an intercooler, carbon intake, exhaust and ECU remapping. On the transmission side, the 8-speed automatic gearbox has also been upgraded to handle the increased torque.

There is no performance data yet, but it is certain that the MH5 800 will be faster than the stock M5 Competition, which accelerates by 0 to 100 km / h in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km / h

.

A design that changes little and carbon in abundance

The visual modifications are discreet, the most obvious being the rims in alliage Manhart 21 inch Matte Black Concave One.

The car is also equipped with a aerodynamic kit carbon fiber (spoiler, side skirts, mirror caps, diffuser, rear spoiler lip) and a carbon bonnet. For this specific example, Manhart chose a metallic mat red covering with pink reflections, combined with a black band.

The new exhaust system is also present and includes ‘Race’ downpipes without catalytic converter, stainless steel replacement pipes without OPF and a stainless steel rear silencer with valve control.

Finally, in addition to the engine and exhaust, Manhart modified the suspension with adjustable H&R springs to improve handling.

We can’t wait to see what it looks like on the road!
