a motorhome halfway between a van and a low profile

Challenger unveils the X150, and creates an intermediate category that brings together the best of both worlds, halfway between van and motorhome.

Challenger is a French motorhome manufacturer, part of the Trigano group. For this new season, the Ardèche company is unveiling a brand new product, placed halfway between a low profile and a converted van: the Challenger X150, based on a Fiat Ducato carrier, fitted with the 2.3-liter Multijet diesel unit, in 140 and 190 horsepower versions.

Challenger X150: the best compromise?

With a length of 5.99 meters by 2.10 meters wide and 2.75 meters high, the new X150 is relatively compact, but its layout can accommodate a large 140 x 190 cm drop-down double bed, electrically liftable to take place above the large living room. This, composed of two longitudinal benches, can accommodate up to five people around a large table. The interior decoration combines white, light fabrics and colored accents, for a modern and warm style.

We also find a kitchen area with a sink, a two-burner stove, a large 134-liter refrigerator, as well as plenty of storage. A wardrobe and a through baggage compartment are located between the galley as well as the transverse bathroom, located at the rear. There is a shower, toilet, retractable sink, as well as storage space.

For its launch, Challenger offers a special over-equipped series called X150 Open Edition, marketed from 59.990 €. It has 16-inch matt black alloy wheels, electrically folding mirrors, a Luxe entrance door with central locking and mosquito net, a TV mount, as well as an exclusive exterior design.
