Techart presents the GTstreet R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo. Strictly limited, with sophisticated aerodynamics and up to 800 hp, the tuned 911 makes its debut.
The models GTstreet of Techart are 20 years old. Since the creation of the first copy in 2001 based on the 996 Turbo, the Porsche tunée is synonymous with a good compromise between the circuit and everyday life. To celebrate this anniversary, Techart created the GTstreetR. Referring to the year the German company was founded in 1987, the pack is limited to 87 units and can be ordered for the 911 Turbo and Turbo S 992.
The most important component of the GTstreet R kit is the assembly aerodynamic carbon. Developed in a wind tunnel, it is intended to reduce the lift on the front axle by 45% at 140 km / h and to quadruple the downforce on the rear axle. Up front there is a new apron with side fins and air ducts modified to improve airflow to the radiators. On the front cover, there are two air outlets, as on the new GT3.
The rear has a powerful diffuser and an equally imposing spoiler. The latter has air intakes in the style of the 911 GT2 993 and can actively adjust the center section, which in turn is optimally diffused by a roof spoiler.
The GTstreet R package also includes a Exhaust system stainless steel valve, the pipes of which terminate in the center of the rear apron. The engine of 3.7 liters, on the other hand, remains unchanged if you order only the GTstreet R pack. At an additional cost, it is however possible to order more power if the 580 ch (turbo) or 650 ch (turbo S) are not enough. Between 710 and 800 hp are then possible.
At this higher power level, not only the engine and transmission software are tuned, but also the turbochargers, which brings the torque to 950 Nm. The maximum speed is then close. 350 km/h !
As a reminder, the Porsche Turbo is available from 189,176 euros. For a Turbo S, you have to invest at least 221,782 euros. Converting GTstreet R costs at least 73,000 euros.
