Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner (2021) : le nec plus ultra

The Flying Spur, Bentley’s most luxurious sedan, has passed into the hands of the Mulliner department, for an even more exclusive result.

Unveiled during Monterey Car Week, currently held in California, the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner joins the family of special achievements of the brand’s personalization department: Mulliner, alongside the Continental GT Mulliner Coupé and Cabriolet.

The new Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner will be offered with three engines present in the model catalog: a 2.9-liter plug-in hybrid V6 with 544 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 550 horsepower and 770 Nm, as well as an opulent twin W12 – 6.0-liter turbo developing 635 horsepower and 900 Nm. The hybrid V6 version will be the first Mulliner model to be powered by an electrified engine.

Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner (2021): exclusive equipment

This new Flying Spur Mulliner is distinguished by a few exclusive elements, such as a grille and front air intakes in the shape of a “double diamond”, shells of satin gray mirrors, or even 22-inch bi-aspect rims, fitted with a fixed central cover allowing to keep at the right Bentley logo at all times, like the Rolls-Royce models.

Inside, we find specific long-haired mats signed Mulliner, leather upholstery based on the motif of the front face, a panoramic sunroof, retractable aviation shelves at the rear, not to mention the possibilities of almost customization. infinities offered by the firm of Crewe, which however offers in its catalog a suggestion of eight color combinations. The dashboard is also signed Mulliner, and has a specific clock in brushed silver in its center. The keys to the car are delivered in a specific box, and included in a key case matching the configuration of the car.

The prices of this Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner are announced from 220,100 and 230,400 pounds, respectively for the V8 and W12 versions (the prices of the V6 hybrid version have not yet been revealed), or the equivalent from 258,600 to 270,700 euros… Which makes it the most expensive production Bentley in the brand’s history.
