Techart specializes in vehicles of the Porsche brand. With the release of the Taycan, the preparer could not miss the electric sedan!
The TechArt trainer is one of the specialists in sports exits Porsche. Renowned for its rarely eccentric aesthetic improvements, the brand stands out especially with its muscular retouching on heat engines.
We have seen a lot of impressive projects from the German preparer. However, only a few of them were based on electrified vehicles. One of their most significant works of recent years was based on the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
Today, Techart has put all its know-how on a fully electric Porsche, the Taycan. The specialists seized the electric Porsche and made several modifications, inside and out. With the aim of giving the sedan a slightly sportier and even more attractive appearance.
For the development of this project, Techart used “new technologies and traditional craftsmanship” combined with “virtual reality design and real-world testing. “Clearly, all exterior retouching was first digitally made, then applied on a clay model.
On the outside, the changes are relatively subtle. There is a stylish body kit with a modified front bumper, news side skirts, a carbon spoiler and a slightly more aggressive rear diffuser. All components have been tested in the wind tunnel and on the circuit. There is also a set of new forged rims which can be fine-tuned according to customer preferences.
In the cabin, we find a mix of black leather and Alcantara with contrasting yellow-green stitching. The perforated leather of the seats has a honeycomb structure of the most beautiful effect. The same treatment is available in other places all around the cabin: on the seats, door panels, the dashboard, and even the trunk mats.
