which of these 4 mini electric cars is the fastest?

Recently presented, the Citroën Ami is up against 3 of its competitors without a license for an anthology race! While she’s not the fastest, she’s no less fun.

The Citroën Ami hopes in a way to renew urban mobility. Its main asset comes from its microscopic electric motor and its simplicity which make it a very cheap car. Indeed, the Frenchwoman is accessible from € 6,990 excluding ecological bonus!

Although it instills a certain breath of fresh air in the electrical sector, it is not alone in the market. Competition is even raging between this French novelty, the Renault Twizy, the Micro Electric and the Riva G-Wiz..

Here are the competitors

Friend and its small 5.5 kWh battery have a range of about 70 km and a maximum speed of 45 km / h.

In the version used for this race, the Twizy does much better. If its autonomy is equivalent, it produces 17 hp and can reach 80 km / h!

On the side of the Micro Electric, the capacity of 10.5 kWh makes it possible to travel nearly 150 km per charge. Its top speed is very slightly lower than that of the Twizy.

Finally, even if the Riva is no longer produced

, she finds herself in this race as a pioneer. Despite his official autonomy of 80 km probably exaggerated, she can count on her 15 hp to reach 65 km / h. She is also the only one to exceed the 500 kg mark with a weight of 665 kg.

A not very fast race …

Now that the introductions are done, it’s time to figure out which one is “faster”. Unsurprisingly, the results are somewhat achieved. The 400m mark is finally crossed in 25.5 s for the Micro, 25.6 for the Twizy, 29.2 for the G-Wiz and 35.2 s for the Friend!

If she comes last in the race, the Citroën is no less interesting, on the contrary! Well thought out, it is extremely practical. And then, at less than € 7,000, it is almost twice less expensive than all of its competitors!
