Nissan announces, through teaser images, the arrival of a new 100% electric utility for September 27, 2021.
Nissan has unveiled, on social networks, several teaser videos announcing the arrival of a new 100% electric utility vehicle for September 27, 2021:
“On September 27, there will be something new in the Nissan utility lineup. A brand new 100% electric model will be unveiled, to transport your business to a more sustainable future! Save your calendars… ”, the Japanese firm announced in a statement.
The mystery remains as to the identity of this future zero-emission utility, except that it will have a front charging socket, hidden under a hatch bearing the logo of the Japanese brand.
According to rumors, it could be a product of the Franco-Japanese Alliance: a variation of the new electric Renault Kangoo, presented in spring 2021. Remember that it is equipped with an electric motor of 102 hp (75 kW) for 245 Nm of torque. Thanks to its 44 kWh capacity battery, the range announced by the diamond firm is 265 km, according to the WLTP cycle.
That said, the silhouette that takes shape thanks to a lightning bolt, which we can see in the images revealed by Nissan, appears to be bulkier than the Kangoo. Another hypothesis would be a replacement for the aging Nissan e-NV200 : indeed, launched in 2013, it could be time for Nissan’s electric utility to be renewed with a new generation, resolutely more modern.
There are only a few days left to learn more about Nissan’s future 100% electric utility vehicle: meet him September 27, 2021 !
