Stellantis continues to expand its utility offering, and announces the arrival in 2022 of the Fiat Scudo and Ulysse, which will replace the Fiat Talento.
The Stellantis group announces the upcoming commercialization of the new Fiat Scudo and Ulysses, respectively light commercial and minivan, which will be none other than versions rebadgées Peugeot Expert and Traveler, Citroën Jumpy and SpaceTourer, or even Opel / Vauxhall Vivaro and Zafira Life, based on the EMP2 platform and known internally under the project code “K0”. The Fiat Scudo and Ulysses will come as well replace the Fiat Talento, which was a rebadged Renault Trafic.
The two new models, which will be distinguished by a imposing Fiat logo on the grille, will be offered in versions Diesel, associated with manual or automatic gearboxes, but also in 100% electric battery version. On the utility side, it will be offered in three configurations: Van, Combi and Cabine Floor, in order to meet all the needs of professionals.
The names Scudo and Ulysses are not unknown within the Turin brand: they pay tribute to the previous generations of Scudo and Ulysses, produced from the 1990s in collaboration with PSA, in theSevelnord plant in Hordain. It is on this industrial site located in France near Valenciennes, in the North, that the new Fiat Scudo and Ulysse will be produced, alongside their Franco-German cousins.
Orders for the Fiat Scudo utility will open between the end of the year and the beginning of next year, while the Fiat Ulysse MPV version will go on sale in the first quarter of 2022.
