Alpine is upgrading the range of its A110 sports coupe, with the arrival of three new finishes as well as changes to engines and equipment.
Launched in December 2017, theAlpine A110 will soon be celebrating its four years. If the future models of the brand are still desired, Alpine updates its sports coupe for 2022: no deep restyling in sight, but a evolution of its range which now offers three levels called A110, A110 GT and A110 S.
The Alpine A110 access version is equipped with the turbocharged 1.8 liter of 252 hp and 320 Nm of torque, while the A110 GT and A110 S versions, more sporty, see their engine pushed to 300 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, an increase of 8 horsepower and 20 Nm compared to the current versions.
The GT still stands out with a more “comfortable” atmosphere, equipped with leather seats and equipment such as Park Assist, while the S is sportier, with orange accents, microfiber Sport bucket seats and a predisposition for the installation of a competition harness. It is also the only one that can be configured in a two-tone color, like the Fire Orange associated with the Deep Black roof in these official photos.
The Alpine A110s are always fitted with a driving mode selector, which offers the choice between “Normal”, “Sport” and “Track” modes. Each mode optimizes various parameters such as the responsiveness of the engine and the accelerator pedal, the calibration of the power steering, the management of the gearbox, the activation of the exhaust valve or even the calibration of the ESC.
From new options are also emerging as the pneus semi-slick Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 Connect, or a Aero Kit for the A110 S version, which offers a carbon front blade and rear spoiler, as well as extended fairing at the front to increase aerodynamic support, not to mention a top speed increased to 275 km / h.
a new multimedia system is also available: more complete, it has a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity and 2 USB sockets, but especially Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, absent from the previous version. Updates can now be done remotely, which will allow the A110 to soon be equipped with a Wi-Fi connection.
Unsurprisingly, these new updates result in a price increase, with a starting price from 59.500 € for the Alpine A110. The Alpine A110 GT starts at € 69,500, and the Alpine A110 S starts at € 71,500. Orders for this new Alpine A110 “model year 2022” will be open on 1is December 2021.
