Specialized in campervans, the French manufacturer Font Vendome launches a new compact model, which is already shaping up to be the bestseller in its range: the Font Vendome Auto Camper.

If we often find at Font Vendôme models on Renault or Fiat, the Auto Camper is based on a carrier Ford Transit Custom, available with the 2.0-liter EcoBlue Diesel with 130 or 170 horsepower. It has compact dimensions, with 4.97 meters long by 1.96 meters wide by 2.09 meters high.

Font Vendôme Auto Camper: 4 real sleeping places

Son pop-up roof electrically houses a 113 x 190 cm double bed, which completes the bench convertible into a 114 x 188 cm bed: enough to accommodate up to four people for the night. During the day, the modular and sliding ISOFIX bench seat as well as the swiveling front seats allow you to sit around the retractable table.

There is also a kitchen unit with a two-burner stove, a stainless steel sink or a 41 liter compression refrigerator. The set is completed by tanks of 50 liters of clean water and 40 liters of waste water, a 2 kW heater, while a external shower is accessible from the rear of the vehicle.

In terms of equipment, the equipment is rich with, in particular, swivel front seats with armrests, tinted electric windows, electric mirrors, cruise control-speed limiter, cabin air conditioning, ESP and ASR, an MP3 Bluetooth car radio, or the front fog lights.

The Font Vendôme Auto Camper is marketed at a starting price from 51,490 euros.
