A copy of the 2019 Ford GT is up for auction, and it should go for over a million dollars!
This Ford GT was delivered in 2019 in the United States, and features an eye-catching ‘Snake Skin Green’ dress, as well as a black Alcantara interior. Its owner benefited from a limited version Carbon Series, which is distinguished by the presence of a lightweight polycarbonate rear cover, carbon fiber rims and a titanium exhaust, which saves 18 kg compared to an ordinary GT.
There is no doubt that its seller bought it for the sole speculative purpose of reselling it, as evidenced by its very low mileage of 31 miles on the clock, the equivalent of 50 km. Now that its Ford contract prohibiting the resale of the car for two years has expired, the model is now offered at auction on the famous American site Bring a Trailer.
The car’s body received a Gtechniq ceramic treatment, as well as a SunTek paint protection film, not to mention a ClearPlex film on the windshield. Carbon fiber “GT” logos have also been added to the model’s sides.
For the rest, the model remained in its original specification, with its 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine developing a trifle of 669 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque, mated to a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The model is sold with its original documentation, photos of its manufacture, a battery charger, a cover, personalized embroidered floor mats, its official registration certificate, as well as a Carfax report certifying the history of the car.
At the time of writing, the bids for this Ford GT have already exceeded the sum of 1,05 million de dollars, or the equivalent of around 916,000 euros: quite a gain on a model acquired at around 500,000 dollars just over two years ago!
