He suspects the transport of a corpse and calls the police

It was a very curious call that the British police received on this day in mid-January. Indeed, a driver was worried to see a vehicle rolling in which one could distinguish feet… sticking out of a rolled-up carpet!

The information was reported by the BBC. On Saturday January 15, the Cambridgeshire police, a region north of London (United Kingdom), were called by a driver who believed he saw a human body in a car who was driving on the freeway. The police therefore quickly set out to find this mysterious vehicle.

Once there, the agents discovered that it was not a corpse but a strange mannequin. It was a puppet with the face of Prince Charming. The driver explained that he was bringing the model in make-up to a birthday party. The police advised him to prevent this situation from happening again, but were nevertheless relieved that it was a false alarm and not a sordid affair of morals.

What the law says ?

More seriously, remember that the transport of a deceased person must be done using a specially equipped vehicle and exclusively reserved for mortuary transport. Transport must take place within 48 hours of death. You must complete a declaration for the transport of the body and then send it to the town hall.
