“Codalunga” means “longtail” in English or long tail in French. And its additional 36 cm compared to a classic Pagani Huayra are charged at a high price since each of the 5 copies is exchanged for 7 million euros!
Stretched versions, all hypercar manufacturers seem to be getting into it. McLaren had launched the fashion in the 90s with the F1. The brand then brought these derivatives up to date, particularly with the Speedtail. Today, it’s Pagani who enters the dance with this elongated version of his Huayra. She gained 36 cm to be around 5 meters long!
This Codalunga was created following the request of a client to the Grand Complications division of the manufacturer. Understand the department ” custom made “ like Bacalar at Bentley and what Rolls-Royce did with the Boat Tail. It took 2 years for the Italian brand to develop this car!
Ladies and gentlemen feast your eyes on the #Pagani #Huayra #Codalunga! A long tail version of Pagani’s second hypercar and it’s limited to just 5 units, all sold out. It gets a 828bhp twin-turbo #V12 and is priced at ₹57.7 crore 🤯 (without Indian taxes and duties). pic.twitter.com/Hr7M6lKBrr

Under this huge rear cover of 3.7 m square hides a 6-litre twin-turbo V12 developing 830 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque. Pagani did not test the performance of this new machine against a “basic” Huayra. What we can completely understand given the price and the rarity of such a creation. But with a weight finally quite contained for its size only 1280 kg, one doubts that it should not drag itself.
Obviously the meter of Pagani is expensive, really very, very expensive! All the cars sold by the brand easily exceed one million euros, but cetteCodalunga still playing in another league with its 7 million euros each! It will also be one of the rarest cars assembled by the manufacturer. Sonly 5 of them will come out of the Italian workshop! No need to take your phone to make a quick call to Horacio since all have already found takers.
