Unlike F1, the MotoGP competition has a second consecutive race weekend. Direction the TT Circuit of Assen for the Dutch GP.
From June 24 to 26, will be held the 11th round of the 2022 MotoGP championship. Teams and riders land on holy ground for all MotoGP fans. They will run on the mythical TT Circuit d’Assen in the Nederlands. “The Cathedral” of speed and motorcycle racing. Since its creation in 1949, the route has never left the World Championship calendar.
For the most passionate among you, you will be able to follow all the two-wheeler competitions since the MotoE is back. Almost a month after the last race at Mugello in Italy. There is therefore MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE on the program from this Friday, June 24, 2022.

In the premier category, the pilots will set off to 26 laps on the 4.5 km Dutch circuit. The route, very sinuous, counts 12 right turns for 6 left and a short straight line of only 487 m. A profile which therefore seems more advantageous to the Yamahas of fabio quartararo and Franco Morbidelli.
Precisely, last year in 2021, the Monster Energy Yamaha team had scored a double. Its drivers finishing 1st and 2nd respectively in the Netherlands. Fabio Quartararo won ahead of his teammate at the time Maverick Vinales. They were closely followed by Joan Mir and his Suzuki.
Could the French driver be his own successor? He is in any case the most anticipated for. Author of a masterful performance this weekend in Germany, Fabio Quartararo is still leader of the MotoGP world championship. His victory at the Sachsenring allows him to increase the gap with his first opponent, Aleix Espargaro. It counts for now 34 point lead on the Spaniard.

The other tricolor pilot of this championship, johann zarco, will also have impressed us this weekend. He climbed to the second step of the podium, thus achieving a French “double”. This very nice race allowed him to overtake Enea Bastianini in the drivers’ classification, and to climb currently in 3rd place overall. Will he be touched by grace this Sunday, he who is still chasing after his first GP victory? It may be a little more complicated in the many corners of the Dutch circuit.
Enjoy your motorcycle racing weekend… Because you won’t be seeing the riders again anytime soon! This 11th round in the Netherlands is the last on the calendar before the summer break. The championship will resume on August 7 on another legendary motorsport track. That of Silverstone in Great Britain.
The time zone in the Netherlands being the same as in France, the race will be broadcast from 2 p.m. on Canal+. Check out the Dutch GP weekend TV schedule here:
