Suzuki is currently working on a new five-door version of its adorable Jimny. Find out the info.
Since its revelation at the Paris Motor Show in 2018, the Suzuki Jimny has continued to seduce customers and make people talk about it. It must be said that its adorable look and its recognizable lines among a thousand leave no one indifferent. No wonder the order book was then quickly filled, so much so that the manufacturer had to suspend its last. Thereafter, the production had to be interrupted, the time that the firm finds a solution so that the 4X4 no longer be subject to the ecological penalty. This is how it made its big comeback a few months later, in the form of a two-seater utility vehicle, which is therefore no longer affected by taxes.

But since its launch, a rumor does not weaken. It concerns the arrival of a potential five-door version, which never saw the light of day. But could it finally happen? Everything suggests that yes, while a camouflaged prototype has just been seen by spy photographers. To see the silhouette, there is no doubt that it is indeed the small 4X4, which could therefore soon decline with five doors. For the time being, no information has been given about it, but there is no doubt that it should show an increase in length. As a reminder, the current version measures only 3.64 meters with the spare wheel. The wheelbase of this new variant would be up by 30 cm.
The rumours are true: a five-door Suzuki Jimny is in development, new spy photos captured in Europe have confirmed – and it could be a hybrid.https://t.co/mC4W8ovZva

If nothing has yet been confirmed by the japanese brand, which still remains very mysterious on this subject, the first rumors of the corridors evoke a launch as early as next year. New engines could appear at that time, including versions equipped with micro-hybridization. But again, it will take a little patience before knowing more about this brand new Suzuki Jimny.
