Maserati Project24: an MC20 designed exclusively for the track

Maserati presents the Project24, an exclusive version of the MC20 limited to 62 units and reserved for track use.

Based on the new MC20, the Maserati Project24 has just been unveiled by the manufacturer with the trident through three official illustrations, pending its very limited series production.

This extreme track car borrows the base of the Maserati MC20, and improves its look thanks to a design signed by the Centro Stile Maserati. The result is even more aggressive, and the model wears a blue and white dress, as well as an imposing adjustable spoiler at the back.

Maserati Project24: a 740 horsepower V6

Under the hood, we always find the motor V6 Nettuno bi-turbo at 90° of 3.0 liters of displacement, which has been enriched with new turbochargers to bring its power to 740 horsepower (against 630 horsepower for the road version). The set is mated to a 6-speed racing sequential gearbox with paddle shifters, a competition clutch and a self-locking limited-slip differential.

Sa carroseries in carbon fiberwith specific natural fiber components, and its ultra-lightweight carbon fiber central monocoque allow its weight to be limited to less than 1,250 kg, i.e. an impressive weight/power ratio of around 1.69 kg/hp.

Maserati Project24: lots of sports equipment

There is also an innovative suspension, slick tires adapted to the race, as well as FIA approved safety devices, such as a 120-litre FT3 fuel tank, a fire extinguisher or even a roll bar. The 18-inch rims are made of forged aluminum, while there is a carbon-ceramic braking system signed Brembo.

On board, there are racing seats (passenger seat optional), adjustable pedals, adjustable steering column, 6-point seat belt, multifunction carbon fiber steering wheel with integrated screen, and even air conditioning, a data acquisition system, as well as traction control and adjustable ABS.

Maserati Project24: only 62 copies

As an option, customers can subscribe to the reversing camera, the tire pressure monitoring system, a telemetry system, an on-board camera for video recording, as well as a display for optimizing driving performance.

The Maserati Project24, this two-seater racing car not homologated for the road, will be produced in a very limited series, at 62 copies only.
